Sheetrock delivery, hanging, taping, texture, with Painting on sub page

The sheetrock was one section of work I was convinced I should hire out.  After having 4 companies come bid for the job I nearly changed my mind.  As usual, the job costs seemed outrageous.  Never the less, everyone around me encouraged me to have this part done by pros.  So it was.
I was most impressed with the delivery of the sheetrock.  The truck/boom driver was simply awesome at his job.  If you look at some of these pictures you can see how he swung the boom up and over the elec line, between 2 trees and down the side of the house to a spot workers could grab the sheets.  In another pic he had the boom going around a tree up in through the 2nd floor window - with 12' sheets !!!

Although the job was delayed several times - when the workers were working, they were faster than you can imagine.

I did not have allot of sheetrock work in this house.  No rock in the living room except the stairway wall, no ceiling rock in the living room or entry, and none in the guest room ceiling.  That, and No sheetrock on any interior cedar Sing Log wall.  Probably half the amount of coverage a regular house would have done.  Nevertheless this little sheetrock job cost about $8,000.00
During delivery Greg, Dave and I masked of "everything" throughout the house except the sheetrock surface areas.  The sheetrock crew would screw in all the sheetrock, then the tapers would come in and tape all the seams, holes, etc.  Then the finish sprayer would come in and spray a fine sealer coat followed by a very low texture coat on top of that.  The spraying was incredibly messy and the masking job was critical.  I didn't get many pics of the masked of house because they wouldn't come out visible or recognizable with all the plastic covering everything.   The Masking job alone took 3 of us 2 days to get done!!!
